Field excursion – workshop

This part of the conference will be full day event with presentations and on-site discussions at two loess-paleosol profiles:

Outcropping full stratigraphic loess paleosol record of the last 800ky at the open quarry for kaolin extraction (KAOLIN LtD) near Kobobar village and/or near the city of Kaolinovo. Local weather conditions will be important for entry in the quarries. These sites are  at about 120km west of Krapets. The travel by bus will be organized for the participants.
